Independent crypto ratings — scored, never sponsored
We rate crypto services — exchanges, wallets, DeFi protocols, bridges, cards and more — from 0 to 10 using a fixed, published methodology. Every score is computed from weighted criteria, not assigned, and no provider can pay for a higher score or a better position.
How our ratings work
Each category has its own rubric of weighted criteria — security, fees, liquidity, UX and more — and every service is graded on the same scale. The headline score is the weighted average of those criteria, so rankings reflect merit rather than marketing budgets. See exactly how each is calculated in our methodology.
Independent and transparent
We take no payment to review, praise or rank anything. Some outbound links may be affiliate links that support our work, but they never influence a score or where a service ranks. Ratings are re-reviewed at least twice a year and immediately after any major event — a hack, a depeg or a change of ownership. New to a category? Our guides explain what to look for.
Nothing here is financial advice. Do your own research before using any service.
How do you rate crypto services?
+
Each service is scored 0–10 on a fixed rubric of weighted criteria for its category — security, fees, liquidity, UX and more. The overall score is the weighted average, applied identically to every service so the ranking reflects merit.
Are your ratings paid or sponsored?
+
No. We accept no payment, equity or tokens in exchange for a review, score or position. Affiliate links, where present, never affect a score or ranking.
How many services have you rated?
+
We score services across 18 categories — exchanges, DEXs, wallets, staking, lending, stablecoins, bridges, NFTs, cards and more — with each one graded against the same published methodology.
How often are ratings updated?
+
At least twice a year, and immediately after any material event such as a security incident, regulatory action, depeg or change of ownership. Each rating shows the date it was last reviewed.
How is the overall score calculated?
+
It is the weighted average of the category's criteria scores. Each criterion carries a fixed weight that sums to 100%, so the same inputs always produce the same score — see the full rubric on our methodology page.
